遊戲玩法

此節目會邀請不同嘉賓作參賽者，依自選答題次序回答十條問題，出題範圍包括香港小學一年級至五年級的不同學科，而全部問題都是由小學生設計，通過全十條問題後可挑戰最終的「百萬問題」。每位嘉賓會輪流從在場五位「尖子班同學」小朋友中選取一位協助其答題，透過選用三個答題錦囊，即「答題三寶」（包括「參考隔籬」、「搬字過紙」及「自動解答」）來請小朋友幫忙。嘉賓每答對一題，可得到相應的獎金獎品（見下表），他們亦可隨時選擇「中途退學」來退出遊戲並取走當時已達金額。當參賽者於第五題之後最終答錯題目，被「淘汰出校」而落敗時，只可奪得「保險線」的獎金獎品25,000港元。節目最高獎金獎品有100萬港元，相比起美國原裝版本最高獎金100萬美元（折合780萬港元）低得多。
